self-destructing notes

Note storage

Notes you create on Dead Drop are transferred from your browser to Dead Drop using a secure, encrypted connection. When they reach Dead Drop, they are stored using elliptical curve encryption in a database protected by a strong password. They can only be viewed using the link generated when the note is created.

To anyone reading the database, the content of the note is visible only in its encrypted form, which appears to humans like a series of random letters, numbers and symbols.

Notes are not stored anywhere else.
